Notes About Bathing Services...
  • All dogs must be up to date on the following vaccinations to be admitted for their bath: Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, Bordetella.
  • We do not cut or deshed any fur.  Although we do the best we can with our brush out to remove matts, it is not always possible to do so and we do not want to hurt the animal.  We will notify the owner if there are matts in the fur that were not able to be removed.
  • We do not express anal glands.
  • All spa doggies are required to be up to date on flea and tick prevention, however, topical flea and tick prevention may be washed off during the bathing process.  Please speak to your vet about re-application following a bath.
  • Please notify us if your dog does not enjoy being bathed.  For the safety of our bathing technicians, we appreciate a head’s up.  If while being bathed, your dog exhibits aggressive behavior or signs of extreme stress, Pet Resorts has the right to stop bathing services or refuse a bath or nail trim completely.
  • Bathing can cause stress for some animals. If your dog is older or in poor health, bathing shall be done at the owner’s risk.
  • Dogs may still be damp if picked up prior to bath pick-up time of 12:00 p.m. or if their coats are too thick to dry completely with the forced air dryer. We will call if your dog is dry and ready for pick-up sooner than 12:00pm.
  • Dogs will not be accepted for bathing services if they have open wounds, stitches or sutures or if they are post-operative unless written consent is given by a licensed veterinarian.

FAQs

Here are some common questions about our services, pricing, and booking process.

What can my pet bring?

We permit up to two toys per pet, one small blanket/towel/sheepskin mat, owner-provided treats, and food.

Glass, raw food, beds with stuffing, crates, large blankets, and additional select items are prohibited for safety reasons.

What do you provide during boarding?

Dogs receive two walks per day and a comfy cot; cats get cozy bedding; bowls and fresh water are provided, along with report cards and attentive staff.

Can multiple pets stay together?

Families can share appropriately sized accommodations, but dogs and cats must be kept separate.

What are the requirements for boarding, bathing, and daycare?

Proof of the following vaccinations is required prior to your first visit:

  • For dogs: Rabies, Parvo, Distemper, and Bordetella.
  • For cats: Rabies, Feline Leukemia, and FVRCP.

If a vaccine is new or has been lapsed for more than a month, it must be given at least before arrival.

  • Flea/tick prevention: All guests must be on monthly flea/tick prevention and arrive parasite-free.
  • Health restrictions: No pets with open wounds/stitches, contagious illness, pregnancy, or terminal illness. If your pet has had medical treatment, written veterinary clearance may be required.
Does my dog have to be spayed or neutered?

Dogs do not need to be spayed/neutered to board. However, dogs over 6 months must be spayed/neutered to participate in group play/daycare (unless under 6 months). We can offer alternatives like private play, extra walks, or private pool time instead.

Do you allow aggressive or restricted breeds?

Some restricted breeds may board, but they are not eligible for daycare or any group activities.

Can I tour your facility?

Absolutely. Tours are welcome during normal business hours. Stop by and we’ll show you around.

Is someone on-site 24/7?

Our animal care team is on-site 7 days a week from 6:45 AM to 6 PM. After hours, the property is protected with 24-hour security surveillance. Dogs have access to private indoor/outdoor runs for potty breaks, except during extreme weather.

What if something goes wrong while my pet is staying with you?

We monitor guests closely and keep daily notes on eating, drinking, potty breaks, temperament, and medications. If there’s an issue, we contact you first—then your emergency contact if ever needed. In an emergency, we can transport your pet to your veterinarian (within 25 miles) or to an emergency clinic after hours. Any veterinary and transport/attendance fees are the owner’s responsibility.

Can my dog attend daycare while boarding?

Yes. If your dog is new to daycare, they’ll need to complete an evaluation first. Daycare requires spay/neuter for dogs over 6 months and dogs cannot be on the restricted breed list. Boarding dogs who qualify can join daycare during weekday hours.

Is your facility climate-controlled?

Accommodations are heated and cooled year-round, and temperatures are monitored closely. During extreme heat/cold or storms, outdoor access may be limited to keep pets comfortable and safe.
