FAQs

Here are some common questions about our services, pricing, and booking process.

Do I need a reservation for daycare?

First-time guests complete a temperament test. After approval, current customers can drop in during daycare hours without a reservation.

Is there a fee for the daycare evaluation?

Yes. The Meet & Greet is half-day and $20. If your dog passes, a $20 credited is applied toward your purchase.

Can intact dogs attend daycare?

Dogs may board while intact, but dogs over 6 months that are not spayed/neutered cannot participate in group play/daycare.

What vaccines are required?

Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, Bordetella, plus flea/tick prevention.

How do you handle dogs in group play?

Group play is always owner-approved — we never place a dog into group activities without your authorization. Dogs over 6 months must be spayed/neutered to participate in group play, and certain breeds are not eligible for group activities. We introduce dogs gradually and monitor play closely. If a dog becomes disruptive or shows signs of aggression or dominance, we remove them from group play and switch them to private play or an extra walk, and we note it in their file.

How do you separate dogs into play groups?

Guests are grouped by size and temperament, and we monitor groups continuously throughout the day. If a dog isn’t thriving in their group, we may reassign them to a better match. We will never place very small dogs with very large dogs. If your dog isn’t comfortable in any group, we’ll typically call so you can decide whether you’d like to pick them up.

What happens during the Daycare Meet & Greet?

We start by letting your dog explore the play area alone to get comfortable. Then we introduce one dog at a time for short, supervised meet-and-greets. If those go well, we transition into a play group. Our team observes closely, takes notes, and you’ll receive a report at pick-up. If daycare isn’t the right fit for your dog, we’ll tell you.

What do I need to bring with my dog to daycare?

Not a thing. Please arrive with your dog on their leash and collar. We remove them once your dog enters the play area and store them in a labeled container until pick-up. Toys and fresh water are provided.
