Notes About Bathing Services...
  • All dogs must be up to date on the following vaccinations to be admitted for their bath: Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, Bordetella.
  • We do not cut or deshed any fur.  Although we do the best we can with our brush out to remove matts, it is not always possible to do so and we do not want to hurt the animal.  We will notify the owner if there are matts in the fur that were not able to be removed.
  • We do not express anal glands.
  • All spa doggies are required to be up to date on flea and tick prevention, however, topical flea and tick prevention may be washed off during the bathing process.  Please speak to your vet about re-application following a bath.
  • Please notify us if your dog does not enjoy being bathed.  For the safety of our bathing technicians, we appreciate a head’s up.  If while being bathed, your dog exhibits aggressive behavior or signs of extreme stress, Pet Resorts has the right to stop bathing services or refuse a bath or nail trim completely.
  • Bathing can cause stress for some animals. If your dog is older or in poor health, bathing shall be done at the owner’s risk.
  • Dogs may still be damp if picked up prior to bath pick-up time of 12:00 p.m. or if their coats are too thick to dry completely with the forced air dryer. We will call if your dog is dry and ready for pick-up sooner than 12:00pm.
  • Dogs will not be accepted for bathing services if they have open wounds, stitches or sutures or if they are post-operative unless written consent is given by a licensed veterinarian.

FAQs

Here are some common questions about our services, pricing, and booking process.

What should I pack for my dog's boarding stay?

To help your dog feel more at home, you're welcome to bring a few familiar items. Each guest may have up to two favorite toys, one small blanket, a towel, or a sheepskin mat, along with their regular food and treats.

For the safety and comfort of all pets in our care, we cannot accept glass containers, raw food diets, stuffed pet beds, crates, oversized blankets, or certain other personal items. If you have questions about what can be brought, our team is happy to help before your visit.

What is included with my dog's boarding stay?

Your dog's stay includes a comfortable indoor suite, fresh water, food bowls, a cozy cot, and two daily potty-break walks. We also provide attentive care and a daily report card so you can stay updated while you're away.

Can multiple pets from the same family board together?

Yes! Pets from the same household may be able to share accommodations if the space is appropriate for their size and comfort. For the safety and well-being of all guests, dogs and cats are always boarded in separate areas.

What are the vaccination and health requirements for boarding?

To help keep all of our guests healthy, we require proof of current vaccinations before your pet's first visit.

Your dog(s) must be current on:

  • Rabies
  • Parvo
  • Distemper
  • Bordetella

If a vaccination is new or has lapsed for more than one month, it must be administered prior to your pet's arrival. All pets must also be on a monthly flea and tick preventative, arrive free of parasites, and be in good health. Pets with contagious illnesses, open wounds, stitches, pregnancy, or terminal illnesses cannot be admitted. Written clearance from your veterinarian may be required following certain medical treatments.

Can unaltered dogs stay for boarding?

Yes. Spaying or neutering is not required for boarding accommodations. However, dogs older than six months must be spayed or neutered to participate in group daycare or social play.

If your dog isn't eligible for group activities, don't worry—we offer one-on-one options like private playtime, additional walks, and private pool sessions to keep them active and engaged.

Are all dog breeds welcome for boarding?

Many breeds are welcome to stay with us for boarding, including some breeds that may have restrictions elsewhere. However, certain breeds are not eligible to participate in daycare or other group play activities.

Can I visit the facility before booking?

Yes! We encourage prospective pet parents to stop by and see our boarding facility in person. Tours are available during regular business hours, giving you the opportunity to meet our team and explore where your pet will be staying.

Is someone available to care for my dog overnight?

Our animal care team is on-site every day from 6:45 AM to 6:00 PM, providing attentive care, feeding, cleaning, and supervision. After hours, our property is protected with 24-hour security surveillance, and dogs have access to private indoor/outdoor runs for potty breaks, except during periods of severe weather.

What happens if my dog becomes ill or has an emergency?

Your dog's well-being is our top priority. Our team monitors each guest throughout their stay, keeping track of meals, water intake, medications, bathroom breaks, and overall behavior.

If we notice a concern, we'll contact you right away. If we can't reach you, we'll call your designated emergency contact. Should veterinary care be necessary, we can transport your dog to your veterinarian (within a 25-mile radius) or to a nearby emergency animal hospital after regular business hours. Any veterinary treatment, transportation, or related fees are the responsibility of the pet owner.

Can my dog participate in daycare during their boarding stay?

Boarding and daycare can be combined for eligible dogs. First-time daycare guests must complete a daycare evaluation, and dogs over six months of age must be spayed or neutered. Certain breeds are not eligible for group daycare.

Are your boarding accommodations climate-controlled?

Our boarding accommodations are heated and air-conditioned year-round to provide a comfortable environment in every season. If severe weather occurs, outdoor access may be temporarily limited to help keep your dog safe and comfortable.
