Pet Resorts of America has been Nashville's home for luxury pet boarding since 2001. Guests stay in private suites — most with connected indoor and covered outdoor space — sleep on raised Kuranda® chew-proof beds with fresh fleece blankets, keep the feeding routine they're used to at home, and receive concierge-style attention from an IBPSA-trained, CPR and First Aid certified team. Medication is given at no charge, photo updates are part of every stay, and secure live cameras let you check in on your guest.

Not every vacation fits every dog. Some pups just want to play from open to close. Others would rather have one-on-one time with human caretakers. We've designed two dog hotel experiences to cater to every kind of guest.

All-Inclusive Boarding — our most popular stayFor social dogs who enjoy an active day, All-Inclusive bundles all-day daycare and playtime with the overnight stay, so your dog naps hard and goes home happy instead of wound up. A complimentary Meet & Greet is required first.
Standard BoardingFor dogs who prefer people over pups, and for guests with special care needs: individual attention, a customized experience, and two daily breaks of 10 to 15 minutes each.
Optional additionsAvailable with either stay — a pup cup, private pool time, private playtime, and a full groom or bath before check-out.

Resort requirements

  • Dog vaccines: Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, and Bordetella (Bordetella every 6 months).
  • Cat vaccines: Rabies, FVRCP, and feline leukemia.
  • Proof of vaccination before your pet's first visit; monthly flea and tick prevention; arrive parasite-free.
  • Dogs 6 months and older must be spayed or neutered for group play and daycare.
  • A completed profile for both pet and pet parent.

What to bring:Food from home for individual meals, medication and supplements in their original packages, a slow feeder if your pup uses one, and a familiar blanket or toy for comfort.

Good to know:Check out by 2 p.m. to avoid a late pickup fee (no late fee on weekends). Pickups after 1 p.m. add day boarding at $40. A $5 per dog, per night holiday surcharge applies during major holiday timeframes.

What makes this a pet resort instead of a boarding kennel?

Where do we start? Private suites with connected outdoor space, raised Kuranda® beds, your dog's own feeding routine, medication at no charge, photo updates every stay, live cameras, and an IBPSA-trained team that knows your pet by name. Your pet isn't waiting out the week — they're on vacation too.

How much does the pet resort cost?

Resort rates start at $69 per night for dogs and $50 per night for cats, with multi-pet discounts, 10% off every stay for military and first responders, and $20 off your first reservation.

What's the difference between All-Inclusive and Standard Boarding?

All-Inclusive Boarding includes all-day daycare play, making it the best fit for social animals who want an active day. A complimentary Meet & Greet is required first. Standard Boarding is built for dogs who prefer people over pups or who have special care needs, with individual attention and two daily breaks of 10 to 15 minutes each.

Is there a charge for the Meet & Greet?

No. The temperament and socialization check is complimentary — a $20 value. It's required for All-Inclusive Boarding and daycare.

Can I see my pet while I'm away?

You bet. We offer secure live cameras for our guests, and you'll receive a photo update every stay.

Do you charge extra to give medication?

We don't. Medication is administered at no charge. Send it in its original labeled package and tell us the schedule at booking.

Can my pets share a suite?

Yes. Pets from the same family can share an appropriately sized accommodation. Dogs and cats are always kept separate.

What should I bring?

Food from home for individual meals, medication and supplements in original packages, a slow feeder if your pup uses one, and a familiar blanket or toy. For safety reasons we can't accept glass, raw food, beds with stuffing, crates, or large blankets.

What vaccinations do you require?

Dog boarding guests are required to be vaccinated for Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, and Bordetella, with Bordetella every six months. Cats need Rabies, FVRCP, and feline leukemia. Proof of vaccination is required before the first visit, and all guests must be on monthly flea and tick prevention and arrive parasite-free.

Does my dog have to be spayed or neutered?

Not to board. Dogs 6 months and older do need to be spayed or neutered for group play and daycare, which means All-Inclusive Boarding. Standard Boarding is available either way, and we're happy to offer private play, extra walks, or private pool time.

Is someone on-site around the clock?

Our animal care team is here seven days a week from 6:45 a.m. to 6 p.m. After hours, the pet resort property is protected by 24-hour security surveillance, and dogs have access to their private indoor/outdoor runs for potty breaks except during extreme weather.

Can I tour the resort before I book?

Please. Tours are welcome during normal business hours — stop by and we'll show you around.

What happens if my pet has a problem while I'm away?

We monitor guests closely and keep daily notes on eating, drinking, potty breaks, temperament, and medications. If something comes up, we call you first, then your emergency contact. In an emergency we can transport your pet to your veterinarian within 25 miles, or to an emergency clinic after hours. Veterinary and transport fees are the owner's responsibility.

How far in advance should I book?

As early as you can for holidays and school breaks. For a typical weekend, a week or two of notice is usually plenty — or hold your space in advance; there's no cancellation fee.
